Sarah Palin's Prayer for America

"If we ever forget that we are a nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."--President Ronald Reagan.

From FDR to Reagan, our Presidents prayed for our nation. And now it's a "Gotcha" question from Charlie Gibson that Sarah Palin prayed for our country at war? God help us all.

Here's Palin's entire prayer, which Gibson refers to and misquotes:

“Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God,” she exhorted the congregants. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”

The boldface part is what Gibson left out, claiming her "exact words" but twisting them to mean something exactly opposite from what she really said. Talk about grace under fire, Sarah's got it.
