Yikes! Another strong, white mother!

The leftwing nutroots and the mainstream media (same crowd) are still going ballistic over Sarah Palin, pushing hers and John McCain’s poll numbers ever higher as voters smell a smear job and backlash. But look out lefties, there’s another strong, white mother waiting in the wings.

See if you can guess who this mystery mother is.

When she was only 1 year old, her father borrowed money to start a new business. She certainly was not born to wealth. She was the first in her family to go to college (not Ivy League). She is a mother of four children and early in her career, she was a special needs children’s teacher.

Her father’s business prospered and he left her a nice inheritance so she no longer teaches. But she still tirelessly gives of herself in service to those in need worldwide. In recent years, she “selflessly aids victims of land mines, birth defects, genocide, starvation, deprivation, and disease.”

In 1988 she “founded the American Voluntary Medical Team (AVNT) and led 55 medical aid missions into war-zones over a seven-year period.”

In 1994 she “witnessed the Rwanda genocide firsthand when her team risked their lives to help victims of gang rape, murder, hunger and disease. (She) says she had to step over dead bodies to find those still alive.”

She “serves on the board of Operation Smile, a non-profit organization providing surgery to children born with cleft lips; 100,000 children around the world can smile because of Operation Smile.”

She “is a member of the Halo Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing land-mines. Halo has removed 7,000 land mines in 10 countries around the world.”

She “volunteered for missions to Morocco, Vietnam, and India. On one trip to India 17 years ago, Mother Teresa handed her a newborn child born with a cleft lip -- surgery was the only thing that could save the baby’s life -- asking her to take the child to a hospital in the U.S. She said she could not part with the baby when she reached the U.S. and told her husband: ‘meet your new daughter.’” Figured out who this mystery mother is yet?

The beautiful young woman named Bridgette McCain stood beside her mother (Cindy McCain) and siblings to introduce her father (Sen. John McCain) at the Republican National Convention.”
