Atlanta school kids do Presidential politics music video

A group of kids at a private school in Atlanta, mostly black, have a musical video that's getting a lot of play on youtube and CNN does an interview with them. But surprise, surprise, the shortest and I guess youngest black kid says he's a John McCain supporter, the only one in the bunch. Has a new Joe the Plumber stepped into the limelight? Stranger things have already happened lately. Plus one of the girls in the group says she likes Sarah Palin. Maybe there's hope for the future.

Obama's anti-Israel video the L.A. Times doesn't want seen

What's in that video the L.A. Times refuses to release? Obama, Bomb-Throwing Bill Ayers, his Manson-murder-loving wife and fellow bomb-thrower Bernadine Dohrn and other radical friends, praising a Palestinian terrorist for his untiring work to destroy Israel? Fox News summarizes the content. Sorry, that's the best we can do. Just wouldn't do to have an anti-Israel video circulating that might cost the Obamamessiah a few Jewish votes, now would it? Maybe after Nov. 4.

So since we can't see that video about one Palestinian Obama supporter, how about this one? It's done by Al Jazeera TV, all anti-Israel all the time network news, but though Ace managed to find it, somehow all the mainstream media missed it. Imagine that.

French archive releases footage of McCain POW interview

French media interview POW John McCain in 1968 while he was a resident of the Hanoi Hilton. He's lying on a cot recovering either from the wounds from when he was shot down as a Navy pilot or the torture he endured in the prison. But knowing the video would be broadcast back home, he puts on as brave a face as possible for his wife and family, even lying that he's "being treated well."

John McCain video shows release as POW

Young, very slim (starved) U.S. Navy pilot John McCain is released by the North Vietnamese in 1979 after five years as a prisoner of war, visibly limping as he salutes and smiles his way to freedom.

Swedish TV footage buried in a vault for 35 years surfaces miraculously (who says there is no God?!) just in time to rebut Barack Obama's latest attack ad on McCain for being "too old."

So who comes out looking more "Presidential" in this comparison, the man who has served his country honorably his whole lifetime or the kid from Chicago who calls him "too old"?

McCain should steal Reagan's line about Mondale and say he promises not to hold his opponent's youth and lack of experience against him. But that doesn't mean the voters won't consider it.

Forbes magazine in 2000 profiled John McCain and wrote about why he generally doesn't do his own typing on a computer, but is very tech savvy despite being "too old."
In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.
Smooth move there, Obama, criticizing a war hero for his injuries, plus getting your facts wrong. Obama's not even ready for the outhouse, much less the White House. But maybe we should cut the kid some slack since 2000 was like eight years ago, way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and Obama was still in Chicago doing whatever it was he was doing, way back then.
