Glad to see a new post. This is quite a rifle, makes you wonder what a modern air rifle in a large caliber would be capable of.

The first time a Winchester was introduced chambered for that particular cartrigde was in 1895, when the West had all been "won".

I've seen modern large caliber air rifles and they are not quite as good as this in design or finish. Although I would hate to over-pressurize that old cast iron chamber.

Girandoni was a genius.

Really good blog. From this blog we can know how to use the air rifle and what is the most sensitive part in air rifle. We also know that how to clean the air rifle. So I think from this blog we can get lots of benefit.
